How do you delete the yahoo apps and google talk apps?

options-advanced options- applications
Click on item and delete

I tried but the icons are still there and I tried a hard reset after but nothing happins.

thats odd...try deleting again

They don't show up in advanced oops any more but the icons are still there.

Those icons could be pushed down from your carrier, just hide them.
