Yahoo mail issues

Hi all.

I have noticed that free yahoo.com mail does not have POP3, so cant work with BlackBerry. However, i have also noticed that the free yahoo.co.uk domain works fine. Why would yahoo enable POP on some domains and disable others. I thought it is supposed to be the same Yahoo.

Yahoo.com works and is one of my bis e-mail accts.

I am in Uganda. and now i think Yahoo disables for selected countries. Because i have tried it and it aint working. it says i get yahoo plus.

What about G-Mail from Google?

gmail works perfectly. it is yahoo and hotmail having issues.
