Holster won't make Curve sleep.

For some reason, my OEM leather holster won't make my Curve sleep.

The case (leather sleeve) it came with will still make it sleep, and I have tried a battery pull, but the holster still won't make it sleep.

I have tried putting the blackberry in both face-in and face-out.

Suggestions?

see if you can find another case and test it.
your holster may have lost its magnet

Wow, gotta say I am super impressed by the super quick reply. I have another case, that does work. Similarly, if I simply put the magnet meant for closing the holster over the blackberry it will also sleep.

By lost its magnet, do you mean the magnet has become 'demagnetized'? Because I can't imagine how the magnet could fall out of the leather holster.

its unlikely it because demagnetized, but it may have broken into pieces too small to alter the state of the device. Honestly with the case price recently its usually just as cheap to replace it rather than try to figure out the reason. can you find the magnet in the other case, the one that works. if you can try and locate it on the case that isnt working.
