Hi, how do I downgrade my OS on my 8100 Pearl.? I have the 4.5.0.18 and I want to switch it back but, I read the FAQ on how to downgrade and it says I need to remove the OS in control panel but the thing is that I reformatted my harddrive now I don't have that in there, what can I do now? Thanks

did you download the latest official release of the 8100 OS? and remove the vendor.xml file? if so just connect your device and launch DM.

Well I wanted to try the new realease from Rogers, 189 or so, do I just go to 107 from T-mobile then just connect it and there? then after try Rogers?

you can use the Rogers install, just download it from there.

I do have that, I installed it and then deleted the vendor file then plugged it in, open DM and it doesnt prompt me anything...

click app loader and it should ask if you want to replace your current OS with an older version

OMG, thank you..it didn't show that before... but i think it was because i was deleting the vendor first then installing the old OS, but it works.. Thank you so much, and for the quick! responce :)

Uninstall the version you don't want (via Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs).
Locate and delete VENDOR.XML
Restart Desktop Manager should do it now.
