Battery dead...now what? Please help

My Blackberry's battery died and now I have it charging although the red light for charging is not lit up and I cannot turn it on...please let me know if this is normal/what to do I've never let the battery die so I am scared I broke my phone. Thanks so much.

I'm guessing that it is not charging. If the battery is completely flat-lined it may not connect via a PC USB. Are you using a wall charger? Do you have another charger that you can try? For future reference it's not good to flat line a battery. Charge it and top it off whenever you can.

Go to an AT&T store and ask to borrow a known working battery to see if the phone will power up.

alos, while you're there. you can ask if they have a returned phone that maybe you can swap the battery with (some reps are pretty cool and will not have a problem with it).

Have you tried to reseat the battery?
