Will the 8800/8820 series housing fit my 8830? Or is there a chance there's a few mm difference that's going to be a problem (since the 8830 is CDMA and 8800/8820 are GSM, I'm not sure if the CDMA has bigger guts)

Any help or personal experience would be great. Thanks

Wirelessly posted (Sprint 8830)

I don't think you can do it. They have different shapes

Hmm... the problem would be the reverse... an 8830 in a 8800 housing. The 8830 guts are what might be potentially bigger... so an 8800 could definitely fit in the bigger 8830 housing, but what about vice versa?

I'm pretty sure they are all the same. I bought a black housing that was listed on cnn.cn for an 8800/8200 and fits perfectly on my verizon 8830. Sometimes you'll see the 8830 housing listed separately, but I think that's because those usually say "World Edition" on the lens where the 8800/8200 do not.
