GPS in BB9000

Although the official specs are not out yet, I noticed in a couple of sites that listed the GPS in 9000 as AGPS. I find the GPS which is a full blown GPS in my 8820 very useful, I assume that AGPS uses cell tower triangulation rather than actualy satellite correct?
