I just bought an 8830 BBerry.
I want to return it to original factory conditions.
-No Third Party Apps
-No Contacts
-No Calendar Entries
How would I do this?

On the BB:
1. Go to Options

2. Select Security Options

3. Select General Settings

4. Hit menu key and select Wipe Handheld

It also does NOT wipe out Third Party applications.

A security wipe only erases customer data.

Very true. The simplest method for that is to delete the third party apps first, yourself from Options > Advanced > Applications, the do the security wipe per the above post. If any third party apps remain, they may need removing manually via Desltop Manager > Application Loader.

Who developed Jl_cmder? Someone on here? Or is it a BBerry app?
Could I do this?

But just start the program with out using the CMD? This seems safer, and i really don't want something to go wrong.
Sorry i am new to this, I am a computer guy, but I just want to make sure that i get this right.
Thanks to all for the prompt and informative responses.
