On my 8700c, I am trying to remove some items such as languages I do not use, and BrickBreaker. When I try to delete these items, I get the following message : "Unable to remove Brickbreaker. It is required by IT policy application control." Does anyone know how I can delete these items. Thanks!!

Talk to your IT BES Admin who placed the IT policy on your device.

If yours is a bought used BB, do this: Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ (http://blackberryfaq.net/index.php/Remove_IT_Policy)

And, welcome to the BBForums.

Thanks J. I have ver 4.1.0.377. I assume I will have to buy a data cable to do this work. New to Blackberry, cousin gave me his old phone from his office. I think he also gave me a CD too, entitled Blackbery Desktop Software, should I Install this on my computer to get this Policy Deleted? Still have questions will followup later. Thanks for the info Billy

Yes, you'll need a USB to MiniUSB cable. Any electronics store will have it.
