7100 BB password lost

I was given a Blackberry 7100i, by my aunt. It was my uncle's he passed away 8 months ago. It currently has a password, that no one knows and has not been used since my uncle passed. I do not have the cable to connect to my pc, nor the charger. The charger for my cell phone fits; not sure if it's the correct volts? If I can get passed the password. Can I use it to play games and watch video, w/o connecting to a service? I have the CD; but how do I connect to my PC? I've never used a BB, so I'm at a total lost.

update; i guess it finished. Now there is a box with a circle and a line drawn through the circle, with the number 507 below that. Now what?

Welcome to the forums.

AFter you enter the password 10 times incorrectly, the device will wipe itself of ALL personal data, settings, and information. You cannot bypass that. It is foolproof, for just this reason.

It's called security.

After that, you can reset your own password, load what you want and have fun.

I've done that; and it's red light is blinking and the hour glass is moving.
i'm just waiting for that to finish.

Hi' i have blackberry 7130c i have lost password when the sim card have been changed- i try enter password ten time rung to rest password but fail down down and show alwais when opend (new password) i do many time but it faild also? Please what i can do to rest passowrd?

You cannot reset the password.

Make sure you are entering the incorrect password if you are TRYING to wipe it.

Hi' I have a blackberry 7130C - my broplem is not accepted my sim card is GSM 800/3G network at BAHRAIN zip code 00973. Is there any software to downloade for mobile to work with our system here?
