No way to get in without the password. After 10 failed attempts, the device will wipe itself clean, then you can get in.

Right, you forgot your password.

are you saying i should try it 11 times and it will erase my information and let me in?

No, ten times.

I'm not saying you should do anything. I'm merely stating how the device will respond given a particular course of action. I thought it was pretty clear.

Look, just turn the BlackBerry into your local police station.
We all know what's really going on here, and you're not fooling anyone.

Well.. that means this puppy was/is on a corporate mail server that set a password policy. I would think that someone who owned this device would know that?

Sounds fishy to me, you should know that a password contains those caracters if you set the password in the first place.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt to begin with. Hey, I've switched devices and put an old one in a drawer for a few months. Stranger things have happened.

But you have a complex password requirement on the device, and that's just not something the every day user sets on their own (or can set on their own), and then forgets about it.

Well... first off, you're a new member and this is your first post. That doesn't bode well for your credibility to begin with. We've encountered many people on here who find a lost berry and try to come in here and BS their way into finding out how to "crack" the password.

Second, when someone takes the time to answer your question, you should be able to comprehend that answer, and not make them take more time to clarify it for you.

I'm reserving my opinion as I was wrong to assume something yesterday regarding OS 4.5 and a Rogers BlackBerry....
