We are looking for beta users.

BlipSocial is a location aware client that provides a portal into location based community applications like Facebook and Yelp. More content coming.

We have non-GPS coverage for several major metro areas and are rapidly expanding. If you have GPS, our coverage is worldwide.

You can download the application directly by pointing your blackberry browser to http://www.blipsocial.com or by adding the facebook application http://apps.facebook.com/blipsocial

We are limiting the initial beta to 1000 users and welcome all feedback and new feature requests.

We also have a developers API and support providing location to third party web apps via our mobile portal. Go to http://www.blipsocial.com/developer.php to find more info and request a key.

In honor of spare the air day, we have launched a new product that helps make taking BART a little bit easier.

Our Blackberry client automatically locates the closest BART station and provide realtime BART information such as how many minutes until the next train.
