Hi

started using messenger, however have an annoying problem. i connect to a buddy via his email adddress that i have. but it seems to default to his main email address and then logs all of our messages on the email address on line as well as the BB.

This doesnt happen to me, no messages are left in my email account on line?

is there a way of stopping this

also using messenger - does it cost as im getting mixed messages, and does it register on your bill?

Open up BlackBerry Messenger, click the Menu key, go to options. Set 'Show Conversations in Message List' to off.

Better if you add him via PIN also

just so im clear coz im no techie. he has a talk21 email address and in essence the conversation is showing up when he checks his account for emails, all of our conversations are in there as well.

how do i do it with a pin instead?

You need to know his PIN to add by PIN. Delete the current BBM contact and re-add him by the PIN.
Once you clear the oprion as directed above, his BBM convos won't show in him Message list, regardless of whether added by PIN or email. The two matters are not connected.
