i just got a 8330 curve through telus, and what a piece of crap
i get the phone, and the phone cuts in and out, and the screen with in 4 days is so scrached i cant even see out of it,:cry: i never droped it and i was always in a clean pocket, so i get ahold of telus and they get me a new phone, same issue cuts in and out, every day i have to call them about an issue, from email not working to internet not working to phone wont make or resive calls, twice the phone has changed settings by it self and it then wont make calls, this thing is starting to really to get anoying, i had an older bb and the thing was ammazing, but this one is garbage, im supost to get another phone from telus but i dont know if its worth it.

anybody have any issues like this?

and does anybody know how to get google maps on the curve, evertime i try from google.com map download on my bb it says access not aval.

Help please

If I remember right I went to Google Maps (http://www.google.com/gmm) http ://www.google.com/gmm

So far my Alltel 8330 is great. Excellent reception and it looks great. I got is used off ebay. Sorry your having a bad time with it.

If screen scratches bother you then get a screen protector! Every owner of a current model BB should do this right after taking it out of the box.

I use the thick washable, reusable ones for my devices with recessed screens. But what is good for the bb flush screen? Are the thin one better? Antiglare is probably a good idea right?

ya i got a bunch of screen covers off of ebay, there okay for the price but not the best
my budy has the curve in his pocket all the time and he works with me and he has his twice as long as i have had mine and his screen is scratch less???
