View Full Version : Remove BES Password

I just installed BES express for one user in my company and I sent the 'Basic Password' IT Policy. There is no reason he would needs a password, and is just quite annoying. I read over some other threads and learned by resending the 'Default' IT policy it will remove the password requirement. It says the IT Policy was Applied Successfully. This is not the case and it still says 'Security Password: Yes'. Am I doing something wrong?

The IT Policy that forced the password change the field on the device to 'Enabled' (under Options -> Security Options -> General Settings).

Unfortunately, it does not undo this option when the IT Policy no longer requires the password. The field must be changed manually on the device.
