Always shows 1 bbm message?

I have an ATT 8310 and I am running the iBerry theme, using the icon version. Anyways I have an issue where my Blackberry always shows 1 :smile: on top and I don't have any new messages on BBM. Its almost like its stuck at 1, but if I hard reset the phone, it will go back to normal.

Anyone know why this happens, or does anyone else experience this?

Do you have your BBM messages show in your Message list? I turned that feature off and most of my BBM issues went away a long time ago.

Yes, they do show in my message list, how do I disable that?

Go into BBM and then go to Options. Also, make sure you don't have a pending request, though.

Thanks I disabled them from showing in my messages, which is pretty pointless anyways. No reason for it to be in both spots, just over clutters the phone. Where would I see a pending request, if I had one? BTW, your the man keep up the good work on this forum :)

It would just show in the contact list...I miss them every now and then and wonder why I still have a smiley on my homescreen.
