hey guys. so telus is offering unlimited web and email data. it allows apps to use email, but as long as its from the blackberry (not as a modem for a cellphone)
my question is... is there such a thing as a hack that makes it work to my laptop as a modem, but missleads the blackbery/and or telus into thinking its from the blackberry?

The modem use uses TCP/IP so you need to have access to that. If your carrier allows access to that then you can, otherwise not.

They will know so unless you want a huge phone bill, it's not worth it. Just pony up for an unlimited data plan.

He's saying that the unlimited plan doesn't include tethering.

yep. they dont offer a completely unlimited plan that allows using the blackbery as a modem... just unlimited data from the phone.
