I am new to the forums and I was wondering how I get the OS 4.5? I have a blackberry curve.

AT&T has not released OS 4.5 for the Curve yet.
As a new user, my advice is to wait for the OS to be officially released by your carrier before upgrading the OS.

There is no release date set yet. Current rumors put the date somewhere into September.
When it is released, check back in the 8300 forum for a link to the OS and instructions for installing it.
