Hi All,
My wife and I have just brought 2 Pearls. They are imports. When we go on to our service poviders website (Vodafone New Zealand) and enter the PIN and IMEI, we are told the phones are already registered with another provider and we need to deregister them first and try again.

My question is how do we find out what company they are registered with???

Contact the reseller ASAP.

Also, you may want to read more info here: Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Buying_a_BlackBerry_off_eBay)

Yeah the reseller, is a bit on the silent side.

Sorry to hear that Olin.

An alternative would be to call RIM and ask them to do it, but that would cost a lot I'm sure.

Are the phones branded on the bottom? What company shows up on the screen when you turn them on? That would tell you what service they're branded to.

My phone is T-Mobile but the dialing was set up for China. Are T-Mobile in China?

China doesn't have T-Mobile. Please answer rachamphetamine's question...
