Hi Guys,

I have just started looking after a BES install and I am currently looking for a device I can use to test and troubleshoot issues.

Anyone know a good site where I can get a cheap blackberry device? (not ebay as I'm already looking there)

How can i tell how old a model is and if it will work with BES?
I was looking at a 7100g or 7100v or Sony M600i.

Also are there any software virtual devices?

Cheers

Craig

Craig, you can find some good deals here on our BuySell section... look at the main page of the forums here, scroll down towards the bottom.

I think you'll have a hard time finding devices that won't work with BES.

The 7100's are basically about a generation old. The current lines are the 81xx, 83xx, & 88xx lines. 7100s were concurrent with the 87xx's.

Not quite as old as models such as the 72xx's, 75xx's, 77xx's and 62xx's.

You can probably spot the really old BB models here (hint: monochrome screen):
