Did 4.0.2.32 fix the audio static problem?

Sorry to ask this again but there were no responses to the previous post and I think it's an important question.

No idea but is this not the exact question you asked 3 days ago, 8/18/05: http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=13952

Maybe he's never heard of bumping? :)
What static problem? I don't seem to have a problem in my 7100G?

When using 4.0 on three (!) 7100t's, the people on the other end of the call would hear very heavy static on about 50% of the calls. Many others have complained about the static problem with 4.0 on this forum. So we installed 3.8 and all static problems completely disappeared. Here are some links to other posts in this forum regarding the problem:

so why don't you install 4.0.2.32 or 4.0.2.36 or whatever other versions are out there and see if you still have the issues...? i've never had issues with any version and static, unless i was in a bad coverage area.

I'm asking the question before I do the install to find out if anyone who did have static issues in a particular geographical area with the earlier version of 4.0 has managed to resolve them with 4.0.2.32. We experienced the static problem with the earlier version of 4.0 even in strong coverage areas.

not being an ass here, but since no one replied to your last post about this one with the 'yes/no' answer you're wanting, and no one has replied to this thread about it, then why not be that person who tests it out and lets everyone know your experiences? it takes all but 30 minutes both ways, so whats the point in wasting a few days on here waiting for an answer, when you could simply just do it yourself and be done with it in an hour...

i haven't had a static problem on 3.8, 4.0, or 4.0.2, so i wouldn't be a good candidate for telling you if it was fixed or not.
