java problem

i just bought the BB 8320 phone and i cant reply to a text meeage, but the weird thing is i can forward, just not compose sms..

error comes up as:

Uncaught exception:
java.lang.illegalArgumentExcept
on

please help..
i called tmobile and we installed the update for the phone so it can be factory new and still comes up as the error..

Take your phone back, get another one.

If you don;t want to take it back, and I'm sure T-Mo would replace it for you, you could try reloading or upgrading your OS (if you aren't running the latest one, found in a sticky in the 8300 series forum). Make a backup of your device, upgrade, and see if it works then.
