Meeting Acceptance Problem with red cross on device

Hi

We have BES 4.1 and Exchange 2007 SP1 and getting an odd issue with accepting meeting requests.

When any user accepts a meeting request on their device, it does send the acceptance OK, but it marks the response on the device with a red cross, indicating it hasn't been able to send it.

I've had a look at other posts for help and according to them it's a persmissions issue. I've checked the AD account and the besadmin account does have 'send-as' & 'receive-as' on the account in question.

Only thing worth mentioning is that our besadmin account is a member of domain admin, although I don't think this will make any difference?

Have bit more info after some research...

It seems the user being a domain admin is the problem, but when I remove them from the domain admin group the BES services don't start. When I try re-doing the MAPI profile, I get a message "the name could not be resolved, bookmark invalid".

I'm pretty sure it's all down to this problem.

Now, as soon as I add the besadmin account into domain admins again, it resolves it fine, so it's purely a permissions thing.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
