is the bold a world edition phone?

I’m new to this so please be patient with me I have the 8830 which is a world edition phone I want to get the bold when it comes out .I just wonder if it’s a world edition phone ?
I did not see it mentioned anywhere.

You will be able to use it across the world, if that is what you are asking.

Is it labeled as such as a marketing gimmick like the 8830? No.

well technically yes the bold is a world phone, however the 8830 is a CDMA device with overseas GSM frequencies in it... the Bold will not be out for sprint or any CDMA carrier, for some time...
