View Full Version : 7290 screen contrast?

I received a new 7290 from Cingular and the screen contrast is way lighter than my previous one. The backlight is also not as bright. Not sure if RIM changed suppliers or what. Has anyone else noticed differences in contrast and backlight from model to model? Is there anyway to adjust the contrast?

I can say that I have tried a 7290 and a 7250 recently and found the 7290 I had to be much lighter contrast. Brightness was about the same. I would have assumed the screens were the same, but between these two examples there was a big difference.
