When I am in my office I want to be able to switch of the Email recieving feature (GPRS-Radio) and only use my Bberry as a phone.

However whenever I switch wireless off - I cant seem to reiceve any calls.

Why is this happening? and how can I change this?

Thanks for your help in advance

Because the radio is the radio. You can not shut off "just GPRS".

If you have Desktop Manager installed, there is an option to disable redirection when cradled, but that is only with DM.

Otherwise, you don't have many options.

Under profiles, there is a "phone only" option. You may want to try it out as a way to turn email redirection off. I have never tried it myself though.

Phone only does nothing to stop e-mail redirection or forwarding, it just has the tones for Messages set to None. The e-mail will still come in, but you won't get any notifications.

If you're running BES 4.0 you can switch mail redirection off from the device:

Messages > Options > Email Settings > Send Email to Handheld
