Newbie help!! Media Card

Hello, I am brand new to these boards and have only had my BB (8830) for three weeks. I am definatle newbie! I searched the archives but didn't see an answer for my question so here I am. I bought and installed a 2gb memory chip after having the BB uncerimoniously delete my call log and e-mail. When I look at the Media Card option, I see 1.8gb free and when I look at my Status, I see that I have about 1.4 GB left on the device. So I want to transfer some pictures and did it through my desktop. Then my media card still says 1.8Gb free, but my status is down to about .5GB. Why can't I put the pictures on my media card and not on the device?

Step 1 Go to your media icon and click explore so you may identify where your media went.

when I do that, the only option that I get to explore is "device memory". So that is where my stuff went, but I am not seeing the memory card in the list.

OK, I got it to recognize the memory card, but now I can't figure out how to move the material from the device to the memory card. Sorry to be dense, but I am not finding this intuitive!

OK, now I can do them one by one, but is there a way to select all?

only if you use Roxio Media manager, otherwise through the device itself its one by one

...the easiest way to transfer media and other files to your device is through the use of the desktop manager. as nick said above, you need to use the roxio media manager that is packaged with the bb desktop manager to move files in bulk.

Welcome to the Forums. I have about 3 pics on my 4g media card, just have not had time or desire to download music or movies. Good luck.
