After i unplug my device from dm or the computer its self, my screen saver disappears. what is causing this and how can it be fixed?

This is due to your wall paper being stored on the Media Card, when mass storage mode is enabled your media card is not available to the BlackBerry. When you unplug it should come back. If not move that one wall paper to device memory. If you do a search there are a few threads on this issue with suggestions.
