Curve wont sync or charge from computer

It plugs in and the indicator shows it plugged in for only about three seconds and then it goes away? anyone have any ideas?

First, have you installed Desktop Manager? This include drivers that your PC needs to charge your BB.

Second, are you using a powered USB port? Usually the ones on the front of the PC don't have enough power, try using a different port.

may be you can use a charging and sync cradle

I agree w/Nick. I would double check you have desktop manager installed. Then process of elimination. Different USB Port, Try Different USB Cord, then Different Computer (w/Desktop Manager Installed of Course)
