7100 shortcut key question

Hello all.

This is my first blackberry and am still getting adjusted to it. My question is about shortcut keys. Is there anyway to set your own? For example. I would really like to set a shortcut key to toggle between suretype and multitap so I don't have to hit the scroll wheel and then scroll down every time I change back and fourth.

Yes, you can set it to open other applications (under Options -> Screen/Keyboard -> Convenience Key Opens), but can't make it switch between typing methods - just between applications.
