Car Charger problems

I have bought two car chargers and have problems with both. Even the new one. It shows the battery with a lighting strike through it and the phone will charge enough to start the phone but thats it for charging the battery. I dont know if the battery is bad or the car charger connection is bad. Its very frustrating when your on a trip.

What do I do as the is a business phone and I need the use of it.

I had bad luck with some auto chargers early on. The DoubleTalk charger for both auto and wall works great, several vendors carry it.

Did you buy the aftermarket car charger or the one from the manufacturer/service provider? I know alot of the cheap aftermarket ones have alot of problems.

Check the current rating - if it's under 500mA, ditch it - ideally it should be 700-800mA

I ran thru several chargers, mostly hit and miss. most success with a vzw charger, where I knew I could take it back if it failed.
