I am trying to setup my 7290 that I have with Rogers so that when I call my voicemail I don't have to enter my password every time.
Well, It's driving me nuts, I can't get it to work.
I go to Options, Voicemail and enter my password in the "Additional Numbers" field. Doesnt work.. I tried to prefix it there with # or * but nothing seems to work

Does anyone that is with Rogers got this to work??

Does voicemail call your phone number or another number.

I know with Nextel you can call your own number to get voicemail or ca;;

(AREA)prefix-MAIL
So if your number was 555-555-1234 you'd call 555-555-MAIL

For T-Mobile, if you call 123 you can get your mail w/o a password.

If your running OS 4.0 on your 7290 here's what I did. Under phone option you have the ability to add speed dial no's. in the case of your BB a its a letter a, b, c etc. With your VM no. in hand add it to you address book as 416-555-5555,,1111 the comma's will act as a pause and dial the pass. Then add your VM to speed dial "a" for eg and by hold that key and it will auto dial your VM.

Thanks finch, that did the trick.. I only used one comma as it seems to be counting down from when it is connected and is a bit faster.. Thanks a lot, this will make life a bit easier :)
