I'm not sure where to post this. I recently bought a Blackberry 8820 and it came with a SIM card. The only problem is that the SIM card doesn't fit. It's just like any other SIM but it's the new AT&T 3G SIM card. I checked the instruction manual on how to install it. And it says the SIM needs to be inserted into the slots on the door but the SIM card is too wide. I don't want to damage it but it doesn't seem to fit. There is only one size SIM card right? Any help in this would be appreciated.

Maybe the Sim card is defective, go to your local AT&T store provider and they should be able to replace that sim card. Good luck

Sounds to me like you're tring to install the SIM card in the spot where the microSD card goes.

On the 8820, there's no door for the SIM card. It's just a slot right above the battery that the SIM card slides into.

Thanks. I'll`take it to an at&t store considering I don't want to damage the card.
