Disable data whilst roaming

Folks, is there a way to disable data coming through my BB when I'm abroad?

Roaming data charges add up to become a bomb. Radio is fine. SMS and call charges are acceptable.

I have hundreds of emails coming in daily, and it just all adds up.

Ideas?
