I Just Purchased A Bb 7100v In The Uk (vodafone), It Is Unlocked , I Was Able To Get It Going With The Att Network In The Us With An Att Sim Card No Problem , But Now I Am In Venezuela And Is Only Allowing Me To Work With Digitel Wich Ois A Gsm Carrier 900 1800 1900 Tri Band , But I Need It To Work With Movistar In Venezuela And When I Put In A Sim Movistar Sim Card In The Bb 7100v , It Just Would Not Work It Comes Up As Emergency Calls Only ,... Please Somebody Help Me With This , It Seem To Me That It Should Be A Simple Programing Issue But I Can Not Figure It Out ,

By The Way Movistar Is 850 Mhz But The Blackberry 7100v Is Quadband So That Should Not Be A Problem

How did you get it unlocked from the US. I have an 8700v through vodofone, and they are not receptive at all. Im just going to buy an isim and get it going like that. I've already been cheated by trying to buy an unlock code that did not work.

if you have a vodafone sim and the phone is 12 months old vodafone will unlock it for free .have you changed the mobile network in the options menu

It Does Not Allowed Me To Do So , It Automatically Connects To The Gsm 900 1800 1900 Carrier In Vzla , And I Ram Really A Customer Of The 850 1800 1900 Carrier , It Does Not Give Me The Option To Manually Do It And When I Insert My Sim Card Of The 850 Mhz Carrier It Just Goes Into Emergency Calls Only

Do you have the ability to test out another local sim card? either for the same operator and/or a different one. Sounds like it just doesn't like the sim :(
