Hello. Does anyone have or know where I can download the install disk to BES 4.0? We tried to upgrade to 4.1 yesterday and it crashed our system. Now we have to reload 4.0. The problem is we dont have lost our media and the 4.1 we purchased was only an upgrade.
We have called RIM and Nextel and all we are doing is goin in circles. RIM says we have to get it from Nextel because it was ordered through Nextel. Nextel says we have to go through RIM and so on. This has been a nightmare.
If anyone can help me out I will owe them big time as our BES server is completly down.

Thanks but this only gives you service packs and patches. I need the base install cd.

No go on that one either. I have looked everywhere until 3AM this morning. I am getting desperate now.

Can you try a fresh install of 4.1 using the downloadable install media? I'd hazard a guess that you might have more luck second time around if you clean everything off first then run a fresh install of 4.1.

The install media rim sent us is only an upgrade.

What are the prerequisites to be able to install the upgrade? Would it 'upgrade' a BPS 4.1 install?

If you don't use the MDS part of BES you might get away with using BPS if you can get either your carrier or RIM to convert your licenses.
