making the switch

i am making the switch from the verizon curve to ATT.

I have never had ATT before - when new phones come out... how hard will it be to switch between phones? is it as simple as changing out the sim card?

does att let you buy the phones without a contract??

Different networks, different standards.

You won't be able to move a SIM card, if you even have one. You will need an ATT card.

ATT will let you buy without a contract.

Yes, it's as simple as switching out the sim card. To switch email on the device you have to login into the BIS system and tell it you have a new pin.

You can buy phones without contract but they are expensive.
