There is no "fix". It is working as designed.

You get 10 attempts, and the device will wipe itself automatically of all personal data, settings, messages, etc.

Do you know your password?

you need to know the password. Is it giving you any more attempts?

If you're on a BES, contact your IT department and they can reset it for you. If you're not, then if you don't know the password you're what they say...SOL.

Th phone locks after 10 times. Maybe you still have that chance to unlock it.

i'm fairly sure he means the PIN2 code, which you only get 3 chances to crack - and then the SIM card/phone completed locks.

Ah. Then, if that's the case, you need a new sim card.

nope, there is a master password for SIM cards called a PUK code, which will unlock it. i'm not sure if the carrier specifically sets it, or if it is something random generated off the SIM ID number.

anyway, moral of the story - call tmobile. it's the same thing if you travel out of the country and want your SIM card unlocked - this is just a sure fire way to get the code without them heckling you for it.

There may be a master password for sim cards that your carrier can set but it's not the same as a sim unlock for using other sim cards in your device.
