Removing device from Blackberry Internet service

I have sold my old blackberry on ebay and have wiped it but need to know how to remove my device pin and so on from BIS so that the new owner can set up an account with it. How can I do that? My new phone isn't a blackberry.

Call your carrier and ask them to remove the PIN from your account.

You do need to do that or your buyer will be screwed and not happy with you.
