8310 software to use with my desktop?? So lost!!!

Hi,

I really don't know how to word my question, but I basically would like to download software that will allow me to use my blackberry with my laptop. Basically if i want to transfer files onto my blackberry from my laptop, or install new software or updates.

Can soemone tell me what/how/where to go to do this? and what is the latest to download.

I have windows Vista at home, and my blackberry v 4.2.2.163 latest software

You need BB Desktop Manager. It should have been on the CD that came with your BB. You can also download it directly from RIM.
