Folks,
I follow your forum a lot, good stuff...got a quick question
we have a RIM-provided LCS 2005 Instant Messaging Client on Blackberry. Running to this issue....It disconnects(randomly, not yet sure of the root conditions) and does not re-connect automatically as well - On every disconnection, User needs to manually re-authenticate....Is this a Known Issue? Google Talk seems to work like a charm on my BB. Is it because of the Blackberry IM Connector playing a role with OCS Server (& is RIM NOC involved in any way for every IM message)? One other issue, if i switch off my radio signal and my client goes offline - the other party on the chat still sees me Online (that's where my BB IM Connector doubts kick in).
I'm about to do some full-scale testing in our labs on this issue ---- Please share any insights or previous experiences on this topic. Your help is much appreciated
