Hi, i'm currently on the original 4.2 for my 8310 and have been waiting for my carrier (o2) to list the official 4.5os.

However if you look at; (you may need to add the w w w . etc to get the link to work)

worldwideweb.my-blackberryfromo2.com/blackberry_handheld_software.asp

it shows the link but their wording doesn't say o2 accredited like the ones lower down.

Does this mean that i will have to do the whole vendor delete thing or should this download link be already set up for o2 (i.e. straight install and no fiddling about)???

Thanks in advance for any help regarding answering my above question,

Not sure about the whole o2 thing but you can get the latest release that's in the stickies at the top of the 8300 Forum here and just do the vendor delete thingy, just as easily as trying to figure out the whole o2 thing. 4.5.0.55 is the latest out there for the 8310.

Wirelessly posted

If o2 have placed it on their downloads page then I am sure the have approved it :)
