For once I deleted XML file and there's a lot of trouble as I have to reinstall the desktop manager again, then I edited the XML file using adobe dreamweaver and I delete the FIRST LINE which contain vendor ID and left the rest of the line. And It work, so I don't have to re-instal the desktop manager again, and any carrier OS can be install to your BB without hassle,but for started you have to follow the usual rules, open from common files, reserach in motion, app loader, but when you deleted the xml file you have to install again, that takes time,if you use latest desktop 4.6, there's no vendor or carrier code, so you can easily install the update for OS to your handheld, have a nice try
