7100t noise

My 7100t has strange "zz" noise whenever it receives an email message. Anyone else has the problem?

Sounds like typical GSM transmitter interference. The speaker on your phone is literally picking up the RF energy from the transmitter--a typical problem on GSM devices. Try resetting the device to see if it resolves the problem....

Pull that battery, then reinsert. That was the advice that I've read from other users who have experienced this issue.
