'No Data Connection msg

Hey,

I've got the 8310 curve and keep getting 'You need a Data connection' when trying to refresh my gmail on desktop. EDGE was in caps on the top of my phone now its in small case but Data is on but in Services Status' Blackberry Internet Service is not connected. '

I still can use the net but its like an offline version even though its not.

Can I do anything with this myself or has anyone experienced it?

You need to make sure you have EDGE in caps to access. Either do a battery pull or turn to BB off and back on to get EDGE

Yeah,for any data services,it must ALWAYS be in EDGE not edge.

Hey, I've tried that and still no luck. Its telling me I don't have a Data Connection but the phone thinks it does.
