theme help

i ve tried to down load several themes for my 8310 every time i try to load it on my phone it gives me an error saying no additional apps for you phone what do i need to do to correct this problem???

Are you using an OTA (Over The Air) link or one where you download to your PC? They are different. OTA will have a .jad link, and PC will have a .alx extension.

If you download to your PC, you also need to have the current OS for your BB installed on your PC.

i download to my pc so i need to upgrade the OS on my phone.? i upgraded the desktop manager this morning does that have anything to do with it?>

No, you don't need to upgrade the OS on your phone (unless you want to). You just need to download and install the OS you currently have on your device on your PC.

Then when you run Desktop Manager / Application Loader you won't get that error and you can add the theme.

i just downloaded desk top manager 4.2 with service pack 2 this morning and it's still giving me the error

are u extracting or unzipping the themes. some site have them compressed. does it say .rar or . zip if they do u have to open them before u can install them
