bb won't sync to outlook calander

my outlook calander won't sync with my pearl 8130, the address book sync fine, but when i chose the option from the bb desktop manager to sync the calendar from outlook it says there are about 300 items and then seems to work until it gets to about number 50 than say error, that's it.
