Problems with volume during incoming call

When I pick up my incoming calls, my phone sounds like loudspeaker for a few seconds and it will go back to normal. This is irritating because everyone around me can hear my conversation for the first few seconds. Please help.

I can't find any documentation of other BlackBerry owners complaining about this type of problem with call volume.

You may have gotten yourself a rotten berry my friend. Perhaps you should send the device in for a replacement.
