Stuck in bluetooth mode

My 8700c has recently started to get "stuck" in bluetooth mode anytime I use it on my cars bluetooth speaker phone. Even after I turn the car off and walk away my phone still thinks its in bluetooth mode, even left it on overnight and this morning it was still in bluetooth. Disabling doesn't work, only way to kick it out is to pull the battery and reset.

What happens if you make a call after you've shut the car off? Still thinks it's connected?

If all else fails, you can turn off bt in the mobile network menu.
