Has anyone been successfully able to sync the address book contact with the mac address book? Everytime I plug my device in, it keeps on saying some contacts on the phone is deleted (even though they are not) and if i want to restore or remove them.

How do i fix this?

I used Missing Sync and it deleted my Apple Address Book entries. Of course, I didn't have a backup ... This is the f**** worst program I ever had. The support is horrible as well.

Use PocketMac! It is a bit better (imho) and for free!

I have the same problem regardless whether using PocketMac or MissingSync. I've been hours on the phone with RIM and MissingSync techs upport to no avail. Its driving me nuts and Ive not been able to properly sync for two months now.
Ridiculous they cannot make a proper compatibility with mac.

Typically when this comes up, something has changed either on your Mac or BB. Once you answer the question it should stop. If it is totally freaking out your might be better off resetting your sync log and clearing the BB and do a one way sync from your Mac to the BB

I've been a faithful user of MS for some time now, but I'm really getting tired of it. I only use it to sync my calendar and address book, and it will work fine for weeks at a time. The next thing I know it will duplicate all my calender appointments and alter my address book cards. Both of these are problems that I'm able to fix, but it is still so annoying considering my pre-Mac days were seamless.

Praying that this new app will be amazing.

agreed, no solution works very well. trying to get money back from markspace because missingsync is worthless. The old pocketmac worked well enough, but the new one is junk. Not sure what the solution is.
Unreal that this is the ONE thing that microsoft got right

A problem that I've found with the two programs is that when you use them both within a close time period it seems to affect the other program.

For example, I was always using MS, and it was working fine for a couple of months. Then decided to try PM because I was interested in some of the features it had, and then used that for about a month without much of a problem. But now that I have gone back to MS I've been having trouble with some sync issues like duplicating calendar and address book issues.

Not like it is a huge problem, but it's just something that I've noticed over my last two years as a mac and BB user.

Yes problem solved.

Here is what I did to get perfect 2 way sync with contacts and calender.

Use Missing Sync

#1. format my entire phone and re-sync using missing sync. After this, i can add or delete contacts either on my phone or laptop and it will sync up.

#2. Create a new calender on my laptop. For some reason the blackberry does not like recurring events. So all of my bills etc that recur I leave them on my laptop and do not sync them. The only thing I sync are my appointments or places I have to be.
